Glaciers & Wildlife Tour

Anchorage to Whittier

Ditch the Bus - Come with Us!
Small Group and Private Tour Transfers

Your tour transfer begins with pickup at your hotel in Anchorage in one of our comfortable tour vans with large windows for viewing the beautiful scenery. Along the way we offer comprehensive narration about this truly unique landscape and make several photo stops.

During the trip you'll hear about life in Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, then travel down the spectacularly scenic Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet with its world class scenery and arrive at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC)

On your fully guided tour of the AWCC, located amidst 360 degree mountain terrain, you will see and learn about Alaska native animals such as brown and black bear, moose, caribou, musk ox, lynx, wolves and wood bison and more in this natural setting. We share the stories of how the animals came to live at the center, it’s history and it’s mission to help our visitors learn about Alaska’s wildlife. Snacks and light lunch items are available at the center.

After departing the center we'll drive through the lush Portage Valley with the blue ice of glaciers above us, through the famous 2.5 mile Anton Anderson Tunnel, and arrive in Prince William Sound and the Cruise Terminal.
